Dayton, Ohio School Discovers Cricket

On Friday April 15th, the Cincinnati Cricket Club conducted a cricket clinic for the students at Edwin D. Smith Elementary School in Dayton, OH on behalf of the US Youth Cricket Association. Nearly 80 children attended and enthusiastically participated in the event. For the students and PE teacher Deborah Osterfeld, this was their first experience learning and playing the game and they quickly got the hang it. The school's PE teacher is also very much interested in implementing cricket into the school's PE program. The event was a great success, and was conducted by Mathew Varghese and Jeremy Fernandes from the Cincinnati Cricket Club.
