On January 18, the North Penn School District, located northwest of Philadelphia, became the latest in a long line of American school systems to start cricket programs. Twenty schools received USYCA American Cricket Champ sets, and twenty-eight PE teachers received instruction from USYCA President Jamie Harrison. Afterward, North Penn Schools' Jim Barry said, the "staff members are excited about incorporating cricket into our curriculum."
